Well, aren’t I luck I lucky to be a Stockport Town Hall wedding photographer? An Edwardian building, Stockport Town Hall stands out in the town centre due to its impressive architecture. The Italian entrance boasts a Wurlitzer organ and is also home to the Stockport Symphony Orchestra.
Roxanne and Adam wanted a simple, intimate wedding with no fuss. Only their immediate friends and family attended as wedding guests and they only booked me for a couple of hours. That’s fine by the way. I like to be flexible in the hours I work so if you only require coverage of a few hours and I have the date free, especially if it’s a mid-week or last minute booking, them I’m more than happy to provide you with a bespoke quote. For some people wedding photography is not a priority, only the key moments are necessary, and I think that’s only natural.
Roxanne and Adam arrived at the same time as their family and there was plenty of hugging. The guests were shown to the ceremony room while Roxanne and Adam were interviewed by the registrar. As soon as the ceremony began it was clear that our bride and groom were very much in love. The smile on Roxanne’s face as she married her new husband was pure joy. They exchanged rings and then it was time for the first kiss. Adam was left with bright red lipstick on his face from Roxanne’s passionate smooch and there was a funny moment as she tried to remove the lipstick from his face!
Following the signing of the register, we all headed outside from a few relaxed couple portraits and some family photos. I then left Roxanne and Adam to enjoy the rest of their day, and the rest of their married lives.
I’m a documentary wedding photographer with a natural and vibrant style and relaxed approach. By all means check out more of my work in my portfolio, take a look at some more of my blog posts, or get in touch for a bespoke quote.
